Borachos – Other Team 7:1 (2:0)

I met these guys in the summer. Since our D-1 team did not play this weekend, I joined them for the soccer match.

This was my first time in this field. It is close to my house, but there is a canal between us, so I had to drive around it. Otherwise, I could literally walk/run there.

Both teams started without 11 players. However, during the game, we reached 11 first, which gave us an advantage. We were attacking strongly from the very first minute. I played forward, and I had a big chance early in the game, but missed the net slightly. Then, after our corner, I also had a header which went wide. Generally, we played well, but missed too many chances.

In the second half, they kept me up front with Chui, who came late. At this point, I was playing more like a central midfielder. We were dominating, but somehow still managed to get a goal from about 20 meters. I assisted on a few goals, but it was not an assist straight to the goal. It was more like a pass, followed by individual dribbling all the way to the net.

A few minutes before the end, they pulled me out from the field, and it was time for a beer (these guys love to drink, I can tell :)
