We won the fall season again, just like last year on 2024-12-15.

I played without my knee brace this time, and it felt much better, though my knee is still not perfect.

Charlie prepared the team all week and was mainly focused on Max and his injury. Before the game, he gave a short speech about avoiding heated moments from previous matches.

I played forward with Max and had many chances. First time I met Daniel, a new-to-me central midfielder who played in Turku, Finland. He gave me several good passes. On the right side, I shot, but the goalie deflected it. Then he made a back pass, Trent let it go, but I overshot the net. Later, he passed to me on the left side, and from a sharp angle, I hit the left post. Two minutes later, I hit the same post again from a perfect goal opportunity. Daniel also hit the other post. That made three posts per half, but the score remained 0:0.

In the second half, BJ (our former player) scored for Four Peaks, so we were losing 1:0. We tied the game with a goal by Daniel after Max's pass. There were two red cards, one on each side. Mike knocked down their runner to the ground:) Good trade, he would go all alone on our goalie. Charlie managed the team like a real coach, giving instructions and making substitutions. I was taken out twenty minutes before the end because I was quite fatigued. Vince wanted to sub me in for penalty kicks, but we could not arrange it before the game ended. I was cooled down already.

Penalty kicks were nerve-wracking. All goals were scored until the eighth or ninth series. Then Luis caught their penalty kick, and we became 2025 SUASL Champions again!
