We made it to the finals, and we were determined to win—and luckily, we did! :) After the game, we stayed for a while to celebrate with beers. Later, I went to EOS with Martin for some recovery time in the SPA.

Note

Max could not play today, so I played forward with Trent and Bryan, who rotated in. In the first half, Bryan scored our first goal off a rebound. When Trent stepped in, I am not sure what he was doing in defense, but he lost the ball, which led to their goal. I had two chances in the first half; both shots were on target but lacked the power to beat the keeper.

In the second half, I had two significant opportunities to score but missed both. Shortly after the first chance, I received the ball in midfield and made a great pass to Bryan, threading it through five defenders. He was slightly surprised to get the ball but controlled it well with one foot and scored with the other, securing our winning goal.

The game was frustrating for many players because we faced a strong team and spent much time chasing the ball. I am used to that, but some teammates are not. There were several moments when I was in a good position to score but did not receive the pass. Still, I cannot blame anyone—I had my chances, and more than just one! :)
