The last game of the season. We had already secured a play-off spot. But to end up 1st after the season, we had to win, since Four Peaks (our main competitor) was just one point behind us.

Unusually, we played on the north field, not on the south as usual. I played with a knee brace.

I planned to play just a few minutes because of my injured right knee. But Charlie sent me to play forward with Max from the beginning. Trent was in the middle. The cooperation was mainly between the three of us. We had a couple of chances in the first half. I shot from 25 meters, and I missed the net by only a few centimeters. Then I gave Max a good backpass in the box, but the goalie deflected his shot. They had only one chance, and that was a penalty, which he sent wide.

In the second half, it was more open, so more chances on both sides. But only one goal around the 65th minute. Jason passed to me in the middle. I put it to Luis on the wing. Meanwhile, Jason ran straight and got the ball, which he immediately crossed, and Max scored the goal. It was pretty good cooperation.

When the game was almost over, a bouncing shot or cross came to me in the box. I was facing away from the net, so I had to rotate 360 degrees and shoot. It went right near the post, and that was our second and final goal.

After the game, I was cooling my knees with a cold beer from Dave. Charlie was happy:) We are looking forward to the semifinals next Sunday!
