Sunday morning pickup game (5:3)
We first went to MMR, but it was occupied because of a soccer tournament. So, we decided to go to Reata instead. We started on field #18, but when another group with a reservation arrived, we moved to field #19.
Note
We played on big goals, and I really enjoyed the game. We took an early lead with a goal from Farid, followed by my second goal, and then I assisted Yuni for the third. It was going into the net anyway, but that’s beside the point.
In the second half, we switched sides and fields. We conceded three goals, but Victor scored one for us. At the very last minute, I made a strong run down the left side and delivered a great cross to Yuni, who scored his second goal. Then we called it a day.

Another game with Brian
Brian and his group were playing on a nearby field, and after finishing our game, he asked if I wanted to join them. Still warmed up, I thought, "Why not?" and jumped in.
By the end of the day, I had well surpassed the 4000 kcal mark and felt quite tired in the evening. There was no EOS Fitness spa session to recover after these games.
Note
I started as a goalie but played more like a sweeper, moving the ball across the field from left to right. Unfortunately, I conceded a goal when a guy hit it perfectly into the corner—no chance for me.
The second goal was a different story. It was a long-distance shot. I tried to settle with my right foot, but it bounced under me and went in. A lame goal, but no one blamed me since the bounce was tricky. One guy shouted, "you are fired!" which was pretty entertaining :)
After that, our left defender switched with me, so I played left defense for a while. It is not really my position, but I enjoyed it. After the break, I moved further up the field. I had a few shots but, despite several chances, could not score.
Neither could our team. During the play for the winning goal, we pressed them hard but got hit by an occasional counterattack, and they scored. By that point, I was so tired I did not even care anymore.
