My Fifth Football Session at Drew’s Place

I knew this would be my last time playing at Drew’s place, so I was really looking forward to it. I felt good all day and could not wait for the evening.

Note

I was assigned to the green team with Alazar, Mike, Paul, and others. We did not start well, losing our first game. After a win and another loss, we spent quite a bit of time off the field. Our main problem was that we played walking football, and no one was really running on the field (except me).

Our winning games were primarily driven by Alazar, who scored two of our goals, and Mike, who got a lucky one. As for me—no goals. I had chances and good shots, but the goalkeeper was just fortunate. The more I tried, the more frustrating it became.

Then came the last game, played to two winning goals. I finally broke the bad streak by scoring the first goal. They equalized at 1:1, but I scored again, securing a 2:1 victory! That final game at least made up for a night of unlucky shots.
