My fourth football session at Drew’s place.

I was unsure what workout to do today. My legs were a bit sore from yesterday’s football, but not too much. Drew asked me if I was coming since they could use one more player, so I decided to go. Obviously, I was not as on fire as I was yesterday.

Paul and Alison were there again. I played with Alison and set him up with two great passes, both leading to easy goals into an empty net.

Only two teams played today, and we had two games, switching sides in between. The first game started poorly, as we were down by four goals. But we made a great comeback and won by one. I scored three goals in this game, the last being remarkable. It hit the crossbar, bounced off the net, and came back out. But it still counted.

The second game was played to five winning goals. Jack scored the first three after my assists. He never passed back, but that is fine since it is just a workout. I scored as well, but the goal was disallowed because of a foul (I hit the ball and leg simultaneously). They fought back to tie at three to three, then took the lead at 3:4. I scored our 4th and 5th winning goals, which they tried to challenge again. Drew ruled them valid, and we finally went home. I was completely sore.
